Big Clarification Book v 1.2

Postby thomas » Fri Apr 13, 2012 11:03 am

Hi,

After picking up a request on another forum I decided to get to work on a big book that contains all FAQ and Errata's (both etc and GW)
The result is the astonnishing Big Clarification Book (BCB) :)

This book is a neat collection of every faq and errata that is out there. The "non official" ETC entries are clearly marked with a grey background.

Please feel free to give me feedback and help me keep a watchful eye out for updated FAQ/errata.

Perhaps this topic should be sticky?

Now THAT is damn handy. Excellent work Thomas. Somebody on the site staff ought to post this in a PERMANENT place so everybody can get to it at need. But at 104 pages, could you not have compressed it a bit? I like to do printouts of stuff like this so I have it at my finger tips at tournaments and such. Even printed front and back it's big at 52 pages. No, I shall not grouse about this. Too useful to bitch about. Again, excellent work. Many thanks.

BEITHIR SEUN! NAGGIE! YOU GUYS SEE THIS? TOO GOOD TO LOOSE TO THREAD DEATH.

There is no problem in the Wood Elven condition that cannot be solved with the appropriate application of a sufficient quantity of Big Amber Spear.

Thanks for the feedback.
Well indeed it is big, hence the name ;)
But after finishing this today I realised that It might be better if I sorted everything in two sections, Errata section and FAQ section and then every different armybook under each section.
That way you may choose to print out all, faq or errata.
So I belive that is the next big step for next version.

I tried to use the smalles font I belived everyone was able to read but will review this after this weekends tournament. So please provide feedback about the font size.

If I do the above mentioned thing about sections I could probably shave a few sides there by allowing several army specific erratas on one page.

New version available: 1.2

Changes:
Empire is gone, No official FAQ available at this moment
Shuffled around, Book is now in two sections, Errata and FAQ. This way you can either print out the FAQ or the Errata or both.
Army spesific errata is now in three columns not two

These changes has shrunk the book to "only" 86 pages:)
