Ha ha 'fraid not. I'm strictly a beginner.

My next big thing to do though is to make a mounted spellsinger for my unicorn but im don't think im up to the task of greenstuffing one from scratch.

any advice on who to convert? the fey enchantress looks like a good bet..

Next up is probably a spellsinger.. maybe my dryads.. i feel naughty neglecting the painting of my cores

Well thanks very much. I generally understand the techniques of painting.. layering, blending and so forth but i just dont have the manual dexterity yet i think.

That certainly isn't 'beginner grade' painting but sculpting is something entirely different. Lucky for me I'm no good at either :D

Do you use wire for your sculpts? If not I recommend starting with this now. You can also make the torso with legs and add arms and head later... often makes things a bit easier.
About entering competition: The comp is about fun, not winning. Your model looks like already fullfilling most criteria for the challenge only need to be modelled to end and with some kind of staff (at least I think, better re-read what is expected in the challlenge thread), so why not enter and see how uch people like your work? :D

I bring you yet another wood elf model you've seen a thousand times before.

I'm not too impressed with this one.. the model is kind of bland. i would've liked to see some leaves or something. I'm sure the model from the 90's when i played dwarves (lonnnng time ago) was much better.

If you like placebo you might like Mew. They are from Denmark. Jeniferever might be a little tame for your taste :p

Nice bsb.

The painting is good but maybe you should merge the highlights with the base colour a bit - they look a little harsh. Oh and paint some design on the banner maybe?

Anyway, nice job :)

Any thoughts as to what you will put onto your standard bearers standard?
