I really like the mix of models in your army. My favorite unit is the wardancers cause of the awsome tatoos.
Well Done

Nice work! I really like your eagle noble, I was thinking of doing that same "conversion" but I'm very low on cash so that'll have to wait...but now I know it looks great :D

I second Cyndra, you managed to make the mix of old and new miniatures work, as a request, I'd like to have some closer shots of your spellsingers/weavers since I can't see them very well in the current pictures ;)

Thanks for compliments and tips.

Vahn: Here is a closer pic of the Spelweaver on Unicorn. It reveals the need for better highlights on the Unicorns mane especially but other than that i'm quite satisfied. Regarding the spellsinger on foot i only have a very small picture but here it is.

My newest addition to my army, the Mounted Noble. He is mounted on a great lion (i like to call it a Forest-lion)

I really like the look on that model, but I thing the positioning you chose for the shield (great idea using the banner, BTW), spear and arrows is not very practical, and detracts from the model...

I agree that the spear is in an awkward position, but the model is very nice indeed!

Just a question, where is the quiver from? I'd guess it's from somewhere in the HE range, but I don't know which one (don't face HE very often)

I agree abit myslef on the spear, but i just coulddnt find anywhere better to put it. I tried on the back but beacause of the HE lion cloak it just looked no good.

The quiver is from the HE dragon set, but a very similar one is found in the chariot set.

Thanks for c&c

What i was most satisfied with on this model is the shield and the mahogni tree effect i got on the lions sidearmour and quiver.

The lion is the perfect size to be mounted. You did well but somehow try and shift that spear somewhere maybe even on the riders back.
Your wild riders also look very good on the wolves. By pointing the wolves upwards you made the wild riders fit in well and not look too big on their backs.

Thnx mate ;) Next update will be eternal guard, a wildrider noble/highborn on a larger wolf, some spellweavers and 30 more gladeguard and 8 more dryads

Im also thinking of adding another treeman. A slightly converted one who will be my ancient.

Wonder when I'll get time to do paint more dwarfs, or start my new skaven and high elf armies

Anyway. Some WIP pics coming up within the evening.

I like the look of the ghost fence, nice idea.

You should try smoothing the GS around the base of the branches a little more, and before it's set press some basing sand/cork into it to make it a bit more earthy and create a more realistic transition into the base

Lovely colours, but I'd refrain from doing the eyes because, even when done well, they can sometimes look goofy. that's just my personal taste though. Great job so far, though. :)

The trick to stopping eyes from looking "goofy" is to paint a thin horizontal line of white (or whatever) for the eye and then a wide vertical line for the pupal. If you have a black dot then it always looks bad.
Elf-light, bat-light,
Touchwood-light and toad-light,
And the sea a shimmering gloom of grey,
And a small face smiling
In a dream's beguiling
In a world of wonders far away.
