There can be two High Elves, or there can be a High Elf and either a Wood Elf or Dark Elf. A Wood Elf and a Dark Elf is a no.

I consider it reasonable for there to be one of the two that aren't quite right in their setting, but not two. It used to be a High Elf city though so I consider them more likely to be there.

Name: Leon de Laguiller

Age: 20

Apperance: Leon stands just an inch taller than six feet. He has quite wide shoulders, giving him the appearance of a very strong man. At least when he is wearing armour. Without it he is just a tall, thin young man. Leon has light blonde hair down to his shoulders, and blue-gray eyes.

(Kind of) Brief background: Leon was born the younger son of a knight in the village of Laguiller in Carcassonne. After his first few years at home he was put into the service as a page for Sir Philippe de Muret. Leon served Sir Philippe well, and was made a squire when he was of age. Leon was knighted after his seventeenth summer. He was a knight, but still not more than one of many. To become a true Knight of the Realm he needed to distinguish himself from the rest. After a couple of years serving the Duke of Carcassonne Leon saw the opportunity. He and a few like minded young knights were sent out to arrest a small gang of bandits who had robbed some pilgrims.
The knights found the bandits and after a brief fight they arrested the four survivors. The following night Leon was awakened by a light kick on his leg. Or so he thought. The man lying next to him had kicked out just as a man thrust a dagger into his throat. Leon recognized him. It was Guillard. He was supposed to stand guard! Leon jumped up and drew his sword. His shouts of alarm were to no help. All the other knights had been murdered in their sleep. Guillard knew Leon was the better swordsman, and backed away. Leon heard a sound behind him. The horses! He saw them just in time to dive aside from being trampled. The bandits were loose. Guillard jumped onto his horse as a bandit handed him the reins. None of them were armed yet, so they rode off when Leon started towards them. Leon was left alone to bury his comrades. Leon swore to give Guillard the justice he deserved, but he had to arrest or kill the bandits, as his orders still were not fulfilled.
Almost a year later he had found two of the bandits. One was handed off to local justice in Remas, and one was laying in a ditch just a mile back. Leon entered the city of Luccini

Total Points: Knight Errant (18 pts (with 20% off)), Champion (free), additional hand weapon (5 pts), Luck Charm (7 pts), Strike to Injure (10 pts), +1 Weapon Skill (10 pts). 18+5+7+10+10 = 50.

A question for those who haven't made their characters. I do not have a heart set on any one character yet and I was curious what people were planning to play so that I don't deprive anybody of their top choice character.

So I'm new here and this is the first time I have come across an online RPG thread before, just wondering if that would be a problem if I wanted to roll a character and join in?
Was thinking of creating a Human character, probably along the lines of a war vet that recently lost his family, out to find the killers along those lines. Would it be better if I played a different role other then a Warrior type? Like I am happy to fill in the gaps and learn here.

Any advice would be great, Cheers.

Jozzabad, that would be fine. There's not a lot of rolling for a character though, just picking. The system isn't as complex as some pre-built ones but from experience that doesn't hurt it at all. And if you want to tie him closer to the RPG there have been disappearances you could tie in to.

Beithir, as ThaneWill said, there's a high elf or humans (or other races)

Baardah, if you feel you can do them justice yes, PM me any race-specific options you'd like to use (and a statline, points values etc.) and I'll give them a look over.

I'm thinking if you can get introductions over with before Saturday we could get properly moving then.

Name: Duellist Yuljolf Tawl

Age: 39

Appearance: Yuljolf bears the marks and scars of a tested war veteran, his dark brown wavy hair held back in a short warriors tail. Standing strong Yuljolf's muscular build is easily witnessed by others after his many years service. His skin leathered by the years in the sun, his dark eyes bearing the sorrow of his beloved dead family.

Background: After leaving his family for extended periods of time to serve in the Empire army, Yuljolf became a sole survivor of a tragic war scene. After which Yuljolf was awarded honours, a veterans service pistol and the privilege to return home to his family and life as a trade merchant and huntsman. Though returning home one day from a profitable trade, Yuljolf found his wife and three children murdered. The call sign of the murderers was left at the scene, painted by the blood of his loved ones. The large chaotic symbol centered by the surrounding corpses. Yuljolf now sets out to find his family's killers and will use any means necessary to to do so.

Sorry, I misunderstood. I thought it was two elves of any type, with the only restriction being that we couldn't have a Dark Elf and a Wood Elf (but any other combo would be OK).

This has probably already started, but if I wanted to run my own with some friends, how would I make it work, so like how does the combat work and stuff?

Name: Reikard Schulzheimer
Age: 40
Appearance: Now into his fortieth year, Reikard looks more like a man ten years older. His short hair is grey shot with white, and his beard and moustache are the same. Underneath the facial hair, Reikard's face is lined and scarred with many years' service. As an Outrider, his clothing and armour has often been customised to better suit his needs. He wears thick padded leather trouse and jerkin underneath a light metal breastplate and segmented plate thigh guards. His prized repeater handgun, Bertha, is carried on his back in a custom holster strapped diagonally across Reikard's chest so that it can drawn quickly over the shoulder.

Brief background: A grizzled veteran of nearly three decades of service in the Imperial army, Reikard started out as a powder boy accompanying the Royal Artillery Corps in Nuln, where his father worked as an engineer. A natural scout and tracker, Reikard's progression through the military proper began when he was enrolled in the Pistolier Corps at the behest of the then-count of Nuln, Friedrich Schlappvanger who was a great friend of Reikard's father. Reikard excelled in the Pistolier Corps, despite his lack of noble birth, but the Outriders were his natural calling and it was here that his skills as a scout and tracker were truly appreciated. Recently retired from the Imperial army, Reikard still has that urge for adventure and it is this that has led him to Tilea.

Name: Viktor Vyshnevetsky

Age: 23

Appearance: Viktor is the very image of the stereotypical Kislevite. He is short at only 5' 2" but quite stocky. He has a ragged pitch-black beard that appears to have remained uncut for well over a year, and Several scars on the little part of face. Despite the warm he still wears the full bear pelt of the purest white. Around his neck hangs a battered and tarnished talisman in the shape of a bear claw. On his back is slung his two weapons. A simple yet powerful bow, and a well used great axe.

Brief background: The son of the Boyar of a northern Kislev village, deep in bear hunting grounds, Viktor had to struggle from the beginning. His father refused to let people believe he received any favoritism and pushed Viktor harder then any boy in the village. Lucky for Viktor he was a quick learner. At the age of 15 he finished the Kossar trials by taking the largest Polar Bear in the region, whose pelt he still wears. After several successful battles he became the champion of his unit. On a mission to the eastern border of Kislev, his unit was isolated and attacked by chaos raiders. His force made quite a showing and killed dozen upon dozen of chaos marauders but soon they were overwhelmed. Just before the killing blow was struck upon him, as he offered a prayer to Ursun, a pair of bears charged and killed the raider who was ready to dish out the fatal blow. In the confusion Viktor escaped. Ashamed and alone, Viktor chose to travel and adventure until he could return to exact vengeance and regain his honor.
