The idea is not to write a story, as many excellent stories already exist here and take up entire threads of their own. Instead the goal is to fill out a framework that becomes a staging point for further character development and story ideas. This is also a chance to show off the lore behind your unique character and army to the community at large, and (if you are so inclined) to find other characters with similar (or opposed) viewpoints with whom you can work to build and connect your continuing story.
Without further ado, I present the template for Introduce Your Asrai, inspired by the threads linked above.

It is perfectly acceptable to simply say that your general has no opinion on one or more of the groups listed in the template because he/she has never encountered them or simply pays them no attention. If you wish to add groups I haven't put in the template to your entry, I encourage you to do so. The "background" section is meant to be a simple, brief outline of how the army came to be, and how your general came into his/her position. Though this template is a little longer and (in some ways) more complicated than those linked above, the first two are still excellent examples of how this is meant to work. You are also welcome to simplify the template if you so desire.
I wait eagerly to see what the members of this amazing community come up with.
