A Brief Compilation of Fiction Articles

Here is a list of fiction articles I have found interesting, and probably worth a read to learn from. I based my choices mainly off style of writing and the ability of the story to depict the environment, thoughts and feelings of the characters. Included separately from the fiction articles are the fluff articles; it is not so much about the style as it is the way in which the fluff is shaped that I felt should take precedence here. Originality is a good thing in all cases; I have tried to include pieces which approach the system from different vantage points. I have also compiled a list of poems, for those that are interested in such types of works. If you feel that a piece not on this list should be added, do not hesitate in PMing me with the link to the story and the reasons why it should be added.

Whoa I can't believe it's taken me so long to find this! I didn't realise you'd compiled all this together else I would have been here sooner!
I'm quite surprised (and very grateful) to find my story on the list...

As for the others, some I've read (I especially liked Nagi's epic and Illyden's, although this took me three attempts to read!) I've read most of VictorK's stuff on Asur.org so I look forward to reading 'The Warrior's Name'

Anyway, I'd better get started on the rest!

A very good question Schmeag. I've been meaning to carry on with my Fool's Hope series for a while but haven't quite managed to find the inspiration and I don't have the time to start anything new until Christmas! I'm hoping I can get a couple of short stories done over Christmas break, as a distraction from exam revision...

It's a shame that the Muse has not taken me yet with Asrai fiction. I''m still wrestling with the eighth Inquisitor Roberto Brake story. I'm coming up to 150.000 words with all the bits of all the stories put together.

AMA, how many Roberto Brake stories have you got planned? It's like a small novel at the moment... I'm only read up to Part III so far! At this rate I'll never catch up...

This collection of fiction is a marvelous wonder to behold, thank you for collecting such inspired works! I am nowhere near done, but it strikes me for certain that I shall enjoy the varied writing styles of our oh so talented friends.
